Abstract

Accreditation of undergraduate nursing programs is a key means to ensure the quality of higher nursing education, and the domestic education sector is also increasingly concerned about internationalized professional accreditation. This article Combines the experience of the Bachelor of Nursing degree program of Macao Polytechnic University in receiving international professional accreditation from the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in the United Kingdom and Portugal'S Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES),explores the critical role of international accreditation in enhancing the quality of nursing education, increas-ing professional competitiveness,promoting the international mobility of nursing Professionals,and encouraging institu-tional self-development and construction. The aim is to provide references and insights for aligning domestic nursing undergraduate education with international Standards and achieving educational globalization.
