Abstract

A new rearrangeable nonblocking photonic multilog2N network DM(N) is introduced. It is shown that DM(N) network simultaneously possesses many good properties, including those of existing rearrangeable nonblocking multi-log2N networks and new ones such as O(log N)-time fast parallel self-routing and nonblocking multiple-multicast.
