Abstract

In this paper, the performance evaluation of an optimal Solution for coordinated cache replacement in Transcoding Proxies is present. We compare the performance over three impacts: impact of cache size, impact of object access frequency, and impact of the number of client classes. The extensive simulation results show that the coordinated cache replacement model greatly improves network performance compared to local replacement models that determine cache replacement candidates from the view of only a single node.
