Abstract

With the high attention of the Party and the state, red tourism in the new era has steadily entered a high - quality development stage. It is of great practical significance to deeply study the high - level development path of red tourism to promote regional development and enhance cultural self - confidence. Based on the configuration perspective, this paper constructs an evaluation system for analyzing the facfers that drives the high - level development of red tourism, conducts a qualitative comparative analysis of samples from 31 provinces across the country, and reveals the combination of conditions and regional differences for the high - level development of red tourism from different levels of conditions such as the level of tourism economic development, the basis of red tourism development, red tourism development resources, innovative support for tourism development, and the ecological environment for tourism development. The research results confirmed the diversity and heterogeneity of the high - level development path of red tourism, as well as the complexity of the combination of conditional factors, and obtained three configuration paths that can promote the development of red tourism, namely the integration path of red resources quality services, the coordinated path of circular development policy guidance, and the path of ecological empowerment science and innovation media co - promotion. The research can not only deepen the understanding of the asymmetric causal relationship between various factors and the development of red tourism, but also provide a theoretical basis for the innovative practice of promoting the development of red tourism in different regions.
