N2 - In our daily life, people often spend time to find their forgotten or misplace items for indoor. As a result, they often lead to frustration and abandonment of the finding due to various factors. Therefore, this paper is to develop system and propose an algorithm to solves these problems. The paper focus on the development of a lost item finding system that allows people to find their lost items effectively. The system enables users to position and scan tagged items within indoor environments. Additionally, the repository is provided for managing items. Moreover, the user customizes the indoor and display the estimated position of tag for assist for finding by 3D editor. This system adopts the proposed indoor positioning algorithm for estimating the position of a tag. This algorithm focuses on setting up four reference points and considering RSSI, and path loss that encounter interference during the signal communication. These factors ensure suitability for different indoor environments. The proposed indoor positioning algorithm uses reference points, RSSI, and path loss to improve the accuracy, precision, and efficient of the indoor positioning. Therefore, users can quickly and conveniently find their lost items by various features of the lost item finding system.
