摘要

The importance of artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly prominent in modern society. College students, as one of the main users of AI technology, need to develop confidence in applying it effectively. The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the Artificial Intelligence Self-Efficacy Scale (AISE) among Chinese college students. Through a questionnaire survey of 734 college students and using methods such as exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and criterion-related validity analysis, the results indicate that the revised AISE scale demonstrates good reliability and validity, making it suitable for the Chinese college student population. This scale includes three dimensions: AI assistance, anthropomorphic interaction, and AI adoption. The AI adoption dimension was created by merging the original dimensions of comfort and technological skills. In addition, the factor loading of item AS5 in the original scale was relatively low and not included in any dimension. This study provides evidence for the application of the AISE scale in the college students. These findings enhance our understanding of their abilities to apply AI technology and provide an important reference for further research and practice.
